Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a senior budget analyst with TS/SCI clearance to support DoD/DPBE budgeting activities in the Washington, DC area. The role involves tracking funding, preparing reports, and coordinating with government stakeholders across POM, PBR, and PB processes.

The position requires 10 years of finance/ accounting analysis, 2 years SAP experience, and a 4-year degree in accounting/finance/business. Travel up to 10% and active TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
• 10 years performing analyses in finance and accounting functions (Budget Formulation, Budget Justification, Budget Execution, Tracking/Reviewing).
• 10 years using federal financial/accounting systems, with updating accounts, records, reports, and controls.
• 2 years working in SAP environment.
• 4-year Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or 7 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Government PEM.
• Provide Budget Analyst functions to support funding execution and tracking.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and tracking of program funding.
• Understand DoD PPBE processes and financial management regulations.
• Administer requests for distribution of funds to field organizations.
• Support budget formulation activity and estimates of annual funding needs.
• Support PPBE process staff, meetings, and conferences (POM, PBR, PB).
• Support Congressional reporting and prepare annual report to Congress.
• Draft, track, and analyze specialty and monthly reports.
• Track and report commitments, obligations, expenditures, program budgets, and contract reconciliation.
