Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Salvage Recovery Shared Services Specialist to join our Claims team. This on-site role can be filled in Richmond, Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, or Omaha, reporting to a Houston-based manager.

The ideal candidate will optimize salvage results and support other shared services functions. The position requires five years of salvage management experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing salvage function, including title work and vendor management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Knowledge of state salvage and title laws and ability to advise claims team.

Responsibilities

• Work with adjuster, property owner, and vendors to gather documentation and ensure timely salvage process.
• Serve as primary contact with salvage vendors and manage performance and recoveries.
• Track salvage recovery through diaries and salvage reports and provide monthly updates.
• Handle total loss paperwork and process titles per state guidelines.
• Assist in locating salvage vendors and support SIU counter fraud initiatives.
