Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Senior Complex Claims Technical Specialist to join our Omaha office, with alternate offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Albany, NYC, or Richmond. This on-site role requires extensive experience in complex claims adjudication, coverage disputes, and litigation coordination across the US, reporting to the SVP, Claims Legal.

The position emphasizes technical accuracy, strategic reserves, and strong communication with underwriters, adjusters, and clients.

Qualifications

• At least seven years' experience handling insurance coverage issues and disputes.
• Experience adjudicating claims under various policy types (Commercial General Liability, Garage, Inland Marine, Excess, Property, Environmental).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex claims and insurance coverage disputes with high authority limits.
• Provide technical guidance on reserve setting and coverage issues.
• Coordinate expertise resources and oversee defense panelists; attend mediations and settlements.
