Job summary

Argo Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior General Liability Property Damage Technical Claims Specialist to adjudicate complex GL property damage claims from a dedicated in-office role. This position can also be filled in NYC or Richmond, but requires working on-site during standard business hours.

You will analyze policies, gather facts, negotiate settlements, and reserve appropriately while collaborating with underwriters and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years adjudicating general liability property damage claims with exposure of $100,000+.
• Bachelor’s degree required; NY license required; ability to obtain licenses in other states.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter and ImageRight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate high-value GL property damage claims with significant financial impact.
• Gather information, analyze, and investigate to resolve issues.
• Report to senior management and underwriters.
• Negotiate settlements and set reserves.
• Maintain diaries and ensure timely resolution.
