Job summary

Argo Group seeks a Subrogation Specialist to adjudicate auto and workers’ compensation subrogation from our Chicago office, with potential placement in Albany, Los Angeles, Omaha or Richmond. This 100% in-office role requires collaboration with senior claims leadership to drive favorable outcomes and profitability.

The candidate will analyze complex liability issues, negotiate settlements, and coordinate resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Minimum two years adjudicating auto or workers’ compensation subrogation claims.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate auto and workers’ compensation subrogation claims of higher technical complexity.
• Negotiate settlements and manage subrogation claims in litigation.
• Coordinate legal and expert resources for case resolution.
• Prepare reports for file documentation and communicate trends to management.
• Ensure cases move to the best financial outcome through timely actions.
