Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Application Development & Maintenance architect to design and implement Salesforce-based multi-cloud solutions across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds. The role emphasizes SFMC and Data Cloud with strong data strategy and APIs.

You will lead end-to-end implementations, guide a hybrid onshore/offshore team, and collaborate with enterprise architects and marketing stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem in architect/senior engineer roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, and Contact Builder.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 data ingestion, mapping, unification and activation.
• Cross-cloud integrations bridging SFMC with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL, data flow design, and complex audience segmentation.
• Familiarity with core Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components).
• Certifications in Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards, focusing on SFMC and Data Cloud.
• Own end-to-end solution design for multi-cloud implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds.
• Configure Data Cloud ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and real-time segmentation for omnichannel campaigns.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations and middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIGEE, MFT, Attunity).
• Provide technical leadership to a hybrid onshore/offshore team and ensure code/design quality.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Marketing Stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture patterns.
