Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect/Consultant to guide large-scale Salesforce programs within our Professional Services organization. You will lead architecture, design, and integration work, partnering with clients to align technology with business strategy.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in enterprise architectures or consulting, and 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.
• Strong design skills with data, integration, and security architecture.
• Excellent presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with rapid learning of new concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to tailor materials for the audience.
• Able to engage with stakeholders across roles including C-Level.
• Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
• Resourceful, innovative thinker who can solve complex problems.
• Strong experience in integration concepts, designs and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client.
• Identify and lead internal initiatives to grow the consulting practice; contribute to the community’s knowledge base.
• Guide customers in deploying emerging technologies to increase business value.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly; teach and prescriptively guide teams.
• Identify and manage risk areas; ensure issue resolution.
• Negotiate solutions with customers and third-party partners.
• Review project direction and artifacts to keep programs on track.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions.
• Contribute to program vision and strategies for enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform.
