Job summary

The role focuses on managing proposals, contracts, and complex orders while driving performance with the team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's (preferably in business or related engineering fields) and 8+ years in selling or related fields, with a Master’s degree highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or electrical, mechanical, or quality engineering.
• Master's degree highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in selling or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities of the sales administration team so that the organization's sales force is effectively supported and all sales transactions are processed efficiently, accurately and economically.
• Plans, prioritizes, and schedule the team's activities so that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Establishes sales support processes and support activities to ensure the most efficient sales processes.
• Reviews incoming proposal (new/growth RFPs/RFIs and proactive quotes) for strategic and capabilities match and prepares contracts for approval and delivery.
• Monitors the status of sales administration activities to identify problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team.
• Liaises with functional or operational area managers to ensure that sales administration activities are integrated with other parts of the business and appropriate for current and future sales and marketing activities.
• Oversees the most complex, large or difficult sales orders and contracts to maintain positive customer relations.
• Leads, directs, evaluates and develops sales administration staff so that activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Other duties as assigned

Education
