Job summary

MarketAxess is seeking a Sales Relationship Manager to join our Chicago-based client sales team. You will act as senior advisor to key customers, create account plans, and drive year-over-year revenue growth across initiatives.

You will lead dealer coverage, interact with trading desks, and use AI/data-driven workflows to identify opportunities, improve efficiency, and scale coverage. A hybrid work model applies, with travel for training and client engagements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a sales capacity, fixed income experience required.
• Prior broker/dealer, buy-side firm, or other electronic trading venue experience.
• Detailed knowledge of the fixed income markets, preferably IG, HY, EM.
• Series 7 & 63 required; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior advisor internally and externally to MarketAxess' largest and most complex customers.
• Create and execute a business plan for major clients and accounts; define vision/strategy.
• Drive long-term revenue and volume growth across new and existing initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to Sales Relationship Managers and lead teams.
• Sell MarketAxess trading capabilities focused on investment grade and high yield.
• Develop opportunities, manage pipelines, forecasts, and close deals.
