Job summary

MarketAxess is seeking an Associate Sales Relationship Manager in New York to partner with the NY Sales team, delivering client support, market insights, product expertise, and operational excellence that drive adoption of MarketAxess solutions.

You will gain deep knowledge of the corporate bond market and the evolving electronic trading landscape, working alongside experienced Relationship Managers and Sales professionals, and engaging with leading institutional investors and dealers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a sales, relationship management or client-facing role within fixed income.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, Excel, and presentations.
• Ability to quickly learn financial products, platforms, and market concepts.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to ask questions, seek feedback, and continuously improve.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Must have or obtain SIE, 7 and 63 within 4 months of commencing the role

Responsibilities

• Build a strong working knowledge of MarketAxess products and services with focus on Investment Grade and High Yield bonds.
• Support Senior Relationship Managers in managing client relationships and onboarding activities.
• Assist with client analytics, reports, and data extracts related to trading activity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology to support client-facing initiatives.
• Prepare client materials, agendas, and post-meeting follow-ups.
• Contribute to monthly statistics, presentations, and internal Sales reporting.
