Job summary

Getinge in Smithfield, RI seeks a Sales Manager to lead the HPNE Sales team, driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth through strategic planning and cross‑functional collaboration with marketing. This role will recruit and train sales representatives, set targets, monitor performance, and coordinate with marketing on lead generation.

Ideal candidates have a strong sales leadership background, excellent communication skills, and a science or engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science (Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry) or engineering area preferred.
• 7+ years of sales experience required.
• 5+ years of sales leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the sales team, planning and directing hiring and training of new sales representatives.
• Directing and coordinating all sales activities.
• Consults with potential customers to understand needs and propose products or services.
• Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.
• Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key metrics.
• Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
• Advising distributors and dealers on policies and SOPs.
