Job summary

Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Twp, NJ, is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to drive sales strategy and performance for the location. You will manage and coach the sales team, recruit talent, and ensure targets are met or exceeded through strategic initiatives and community engagement.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of sales experience and 2+ years in a management role, preferably in funeral or cemetery services.

Qualifications

Four-year degree or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Minimum of 2 years management experience; funeral home or similar setting preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, train and energize sales team.

Responsibilities

Leads and manages the sales team’s performance through coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
Recruits and trains an effective sales staff.
Meets or exceeds sales targets for the location.
Develops and implements sales initiatives to motivate the team.
Generates sales leads through community involvement and referrals.
Monitors sales results and accounts receivable to plan for success.
Communicates sales results to management on a regular basis.
