Job summary

SoCal JCB in California is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the complete machines sales management team. You will shape strategy, long-range planning, and sales processes, while driving budgets and performance across the organization.

You’ll recruit, coach, and retain sales leadership, develop incentives, monitor inventory and asset turns, and build strong dealer relationships to grow market share in the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
• Familiar with JCB and competitive products.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire others.
• Positive nature and demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.

Responsibilities

• Directs the complete machines sales management team for strategy, long-term planning, and sales processes.
• Responsible for all sales metrics and budgets for the complete machine sales department.
• Attracts, retains, and coaches sales management personnel.
• Develops and deploys a comprehensive sales strategy across locations.
• Creates annual department goals and budgets aligned with financial objectives.
• Oversees inventory levels and defines strategy for new and used equipment sales.
• Implements customer relationship processes to foster dealership loyalty.
• Represents the dealership with local associations and events.
