Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store and lead customer service efforts. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and support store operations.

The role includes acting in a lead capacity when the Store Manager is absent. Responsibilities include greet and assist customers, manage transactions, stock and display merchandise, and uphold safety and cash-control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform cash register functions and basic math.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Frequent lifting up to 40 pounds and occasional up to 55 pounds; frequent standing and walking.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, and maintain cleanliness of restroom and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms; open and close the store as directed.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
