Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, build displays, and perform duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including acting in the manager’s absence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related training). You will follow planograms, open and close the store as directed, lift up to 40 pounds, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; six months supervisory experience or related training preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills; ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays.
Clean the store; remove trash; maintain floors and restrooms; assist with sidewalk displays.
Open and close the store under Store Manager direction; follow company processes.
