Job summary

PQShield is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer (FAE) to enable North American sales across security hardware and embedded software solutions. This remote-first role involves partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Management to understand customer requirements and deliver technical demonstrations.

The successful candidate will have 5–8 years of FAE or engineering-to-sales experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex cryptographic solutions to engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Experience with hardware IP cores, security software or embedded solutions.
• Experience supporting large enterprises with complex needs.
• Ability to communicate technical value to engineers and executives.
• Proven track record integrating and demonstrating complex technical solutions.
• Strong communication and product demonstration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic accounts, identify requirements and present technical solutions.
• Follow up with prospects to capture key requirements and provide information.
• Educate prospects on PQShield products and create customer demos.
• Document technical communication, create Q&A and SOWs, quick start guides.
• Identify technical steps to close opportunities and coordinate with engineering.
• Ensure engineering understands customer requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on strategic approaches.
• Provide feedback to help evolve messaging and product positioning.
• Maintain accurate technical information in tools like Google Workspace, Hubspot, Jira, GitHub.
