Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the EU sales team. The role focuses on delivering compelling technical presentations, PoCs, and workshops, bridging sales and delivery across the DACH region.

You will work with SaaS and on-premise solutions, require strong networking knowledge, and travel frequently (Germany-based, remote). Fluency in German and English is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel 70%, some travel internationally.
• Must have a valid Passport and Clean Driving License.
• 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer or similar.
• Fluent German and excellent English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical and value aspects of the sales effort across territory with presentations, architecture discussions, PoC engagements, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations and technical workshops.
• Support the smooth transition of opportunities to delivery by Professional Services and/or Partner network.
• Become the regional go-to resource for future solution opportunities and roadmap development.
• Present and evangelise Axon technical & business value propositions at industry events.
• Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Axon products and domain areas.
• Document customer feature requests and issues, providing feedback to sales and product management.
• Provide support to product Test and Evaluations.
• Execute customer site assessments targeting technology infrastructure.
