Eaton’s North American Sales Division seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to join its team in Amherst, Clifton Park, East Syracuse, or Rochester, NY, focusing on power distribution solutions for the industrial market in Eastern New York. The role blends sales, technical support, market intelligence, quotation development, and customer presentations.

You will build relationships with key customers and channel partners, execute sales plans, review needs, prepare bids, and collaborate across product

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of technical or commercial field experience.
• No relocation assistance; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Amherst NY, East Syracuse NY, Rochester NY, or Clifton Park NY.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• No immigration sponsorship or support for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects.
• Execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
• Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations using company price and delivery guidelines with sound business judgment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product lines, operations, and other internal stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Be aware of and respond to market conditions and competitive activities and communicate to product divisions.
• Assist teammates on training Channel on Eaton Products and Electronic Tools.
• Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits to drive data-based decisions.
• Provide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support.
• Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton’s position.
