Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales division seeks an Outside Sales Engineer to join the Clifton Park, NY team. You will focus on power distribution solutions across eastern New York, building strategic relationships with customers and channel partners while executing sales plans and achieving goals.

You will review customer plans and specifications, present bids, and work with product lines, operations, and internal stakeholders to deliver customer-centric electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and minimal electrical industry experience.
• Ability to build relationships and execute sales plans.
• Valid driver's license and work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key customers and channel partners to grow the business.
• Execute sales plans to meet performance goals and customer requirements.
• Review customer needs on plans and specifications and provide solutions.
• Prepare and present bids and quotes within company guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver customer-centric electrical solutions.
• Monitor market conditions and competitive activity and share insights internally.
• Support training for channels on Eaton products and tools.
