Job summary
Eaton is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer to join its North American Sales Division. This remote role, based near Eugene, OR, covers Power Distribution across Salem, Corvallis, Willamette Valley, and coastal territories.
You will develop and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while combining technical expertise, consultative selling, and customer relationship management across Eaton’s electrical distribution and engineering services portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Electrical/Mechanical)
- Minimum five (5) years in electrical industry sales
- Valid driver's license
- No immigration sponsorship provided for this role
- Candidates must reside within 75 miles of Eugene, OR
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet performance objectives
- Quote projects and negotiate pricing strategies
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to increase product awareness
- Build relationships with key customers for long-term success
- Collaborate with factories to address technical issues and quality concerns
- Research market conditions and adapt to pricing and delivery requirements
- Support a coordinated team sales effort and report market conditions
- Engage in ongoing training and development
