Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer, to act as a technical resource within the sales team. You will design and present tailored IT infrastructure solutions for prospects and clients, translating complex requirements into compelling offerings.

You will collaborate with sales, design, and product teams to document solutions, prepare proposals, and deliver in-person or virtual demonstrations. This role requires strong communication, a drive for results, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT technical sales, pre‑sales engineering, or solutions architect experience.
• Certifications for Fortinet, Meraki, Ericsson Cradlepoint or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Strong client engagement and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to present technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales Support: understand customer requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Participate in client meetings to provide technical insight and answer questions.
• Support teams on complex solutions with limited oversight.
