Job summary

Mastercard Identity seeks a Senior Sales Engineer Specialist to partner with the Sales team in North America, winning deals and mapping customer needs to Mastercard Identity solutions. You will explain data-driven decisioning, ML concepts, and API-driven services while building trust with financial institutions and enterprises.

You will translate technical features into business value, deliver compelling pre-sale experiences, and contribute to product roadmaps through customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience leading discovery to qualify customer needs and determine viable value solutions.
• Solid understanding of data science concepts and machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of API-delivered services and web architecture.
• Experience with Python programming and SQL.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with business leadership, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and marketers.
• Proven ability to establish credibility with technical leaders in customer organizations.
• Business acumen to understand customer drivers, risks and value of our solutions.
• Analytical skills to design solutions within a customer workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; background in fraud/payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Sales team to win deals and drive sales to completion in the North America market.
• Ensure an exceptional experience throughout the pre-sale process.
• Be the subject matter expert in the Mastercard Identity suite of products and solutions.
• Demonstrate understanding of underlying technologies, data processing, and web architecture.
• Explain data features and probability-based decisioning to show value for customer use cases.
• Provide training and create documentation for prospects, customers, and internal teams.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
