Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support Mid-Market accounts across Michigan and Minnesota. You will serve as the technical lead, delivering compelling demonstrations, conducting POC evaluations, and partnering with Account Managers to win business in cyber-security solutions.

The role requires strong presentation skills, deep security knowledge, and the ability to engage with technical staff and executives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on technical experience in sales engineering or equivalent roles.
• Experience with large Enterprise customers and complex environments.
• Ability to present to individuals and teams including executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagement as the main technical point of contact in sales cycles.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations addressing cyber threats and security needs.
• Work with security staff on technical discovery, POC, and production evaluations.
• Collaborate with sales to develop account penetration strategies and close deals.
