Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the Data Security Group to lead pre-sales engagements and serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and account teams.

You will design and present data security solutions, drive POC evaluations, and collaborate with services, engineering, and product teams to ensure success.

The role requires 5+ years in sales engineering or related fields, expertise in DLP/CASB/Insider Risk, and travel as needed within the Eastern time zone.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of proven track record selling solutions as a Sales Engineer or related areas
• Good understanding of the cybersecurity market landscape, especially Data Security and Insider Risk areas
• Expertise in core security solutions and technologies such as EDR, DLP, CASB, Insider Threat, DSPM

Responsabilidades

• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction during the pre-sales process
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Account Teams on penetration strategies
• Serve as main technical contact with customers and prospects
• Lead technical discovery, POC planning, execution, and evaluations
• Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions across Data Security portfolio
• Assist in services deployments and industry events as needed
• Coordinate with Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management for ongoing success
• Provide customer insight to Product Management and Engineering teams
• Develop training presentations for peers and accounts
• Contribute to internal documentation and training
