Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to own development, implementation, and refinement of enablement programs that boost sales efficiency and revenue growth. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and GTM teams to deliver scalable, data-driven initiatives that support learning, onboarding, and pipeline acceleration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Instructional Development, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability in B2B or SaaS sales support, sales operations, or related function.
• Hands-on experience with core sales and GTM platforms.
• Strong ability to convert business priorities into scalable development programs and action plans.
• Proven comfort operating in fast-changing or scaling organizations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaborator leadership skills.
• Data-driven approach with experience using performance metrics and reporting to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess enablement needs and deliver programs aligned to business priorities and sales outcomes.
• Build, manage, and continuously improve onboarding, continuous learning, and sales readiness programs.
• Develop and deploy enablement content, tools, and resources across multiple modalities, including live, virtual, and on-demand experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop plays, use-case support, and value-driven messaging.
• Build and support frontline and second-line sales manager enablement, including mentoring frameworks and reinforcement guides.
• Take ownership of enablement technologies and platforms to provide scalable, role-specific experiences.
• Scale enablement programs across geographies, segments, and roles with measurable impact on metrics.
• Partner with Revenue Operations to embed enablement in core sales workflows and systems of record.
• Leverage data from enablement platforms and CRM to measure efficiency and optimize ROI.
• Establish feedback loops with sales to improve programs based on insights, adoption, and win/loss findings.
