Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to own the development and refinement of enablement programs that boost sales efficiency and revenue growth. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and GTM teams to deliver scalable, data-driven initiatives.

The role combines strategy with hands-on execution, driving onboarding, content deployment, and manager enablement across geographies and roles to improve win rates and pipeline velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Instructional Development, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with B2B or SaaS sales support, sales operations, L&D, or related function.
• Experience with core sales and GTM platforms.
• Ability to translate business priorities into scalable enablement programs.
• Comfort working in fast-changing or scaling organizations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Data-driven decisions using performance metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess enablement needs and deliver programs aligned to priorities.
• Build and improve onboarding, learning, and sales readiness programs.
• Develop and deploy enablement content across live, virtual, and on-demand formats.
• Collaborate on sales plays, use-case support, and value messaging to drive pipeline.
• Support frontline and second-line sales manager enablement, with mentoring frameworks.
• Own enablement technologies and platforms for scalable, role-specific experiences.
• Scale programs across geographies, segments, and roles with measurable impact.
• Ensure enablement is embedded in core sales workflows and systems of record.
• Leverage analytics to measure efficiency and optimize ROI.
• Establish feedback loops with sales to improve programs.
