Senior Sales Director (Dick's Sporting Goods)
Purpose: Integrate account-specific work on historical business and initiative performance, understanding shoppers, their needs, perceptions of the brand, and product opportunities to develop strategic account plans.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead execution of the strategic account plan, collaborating with dedicated account sales resources, marketing, merchandising, and analysis teams to drive sell-in and sell-through.
- Monitor ongoing business performance at the account, build on momentum, capitalize on product and pricing opportunities, and address sales shortfalls.
- Develop deep expertise in regional market trends, consumer dynamics, and preferences.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key retailer personnel to influence and execute strategic directions.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitive activity, and factors affecting sales within the account.
- Plan, analyze, and implement projects and initiatives as directed by the Head of Sales, adidas America.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities including hiring, training, performance assessments, coaching, and mentoring.
- Participate in key account sales meetings.
- Lead and participate in pre-sell preparation meetings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and at least ten years of retail, sales, or management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
