Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Compensation Analyst to drive accuracy in payout calculations and governance. The role focuses on understanding reports, source documents, and developing audit points to ensure correct compensation.

You will mentor team members, automate processes, and collaborate with Sales Leaders and IS to document and improve how pay is calculated. At least 4 years of analyst experience and advanced Excel, SQL/Power BI skills are desired.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of analyst experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
• SQL and/or Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate impact within the Sales Compensation department.
• Train team members to maintain integrity of key source documents and compensation strategy.
• Liaise between Sales Compensation and IS teams to create and audit reporting.
• Solve problems and think strategically with Sales Leaders.
• Identify undocumented processes and create SOPs to enable repeatable results.
• Collaborate with Analysts and Programmers to document systems, pay components and calculations.
• Develop new techniques to improve accuracy and time efficiency for analysts.
• Create procedures to ensure accuracy of documentation and its relevance.
• Foster cross-training and education within the Sales Compensation department.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to dissect and explain pay calculations and source documents.
