Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking an associate to deliver exceptional customer service and execute store standards. You will assist customers, process sales at the POS, and help maintain appealing merchandise presentation.

The role supports promotions, inventory tasks, and loss prevention awareness, working closely with store management and teammates. Ideal candidates have retail sales experience, basic math and strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn store policies while contributing

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or specialty retail preferred.
• Basic math skills for daily cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to adhere to store policies and procedures.
• Ability to promote promotions and rewards programs.
• Good interpersonal skills for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through service standards and awareness.
• Promote the company's rewards program and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of current sales promotions.
• Keep merchandise presentation clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Maintain loss prevention awareness among customers and staff.
• Participate in inventories, shipping/receiving, and merchandising on the sales floor.
• Process all sales and POS transactions accurately according to policy.
