Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates seeks a Sr. Sales Analyst for Sam’s Club, based in Franklin, TN or Bentonville, AR. The role translates data into insights across assortment, pricing, promotions, forecasting, and trade investments to inform customer plans.

You will work with syndicated data, drive storytelling in customer meetings, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve forecast accuracy and inventory flow across omni channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in business analytics, category management, commercial planning, or customer development (preferably in CPG or retail).
• Direct experience working with syndicated data systems (Nielsen, etc.), retail portals, and internal sales forecast and financial management tools.
• Previous experience working in the CPG space required.
• Experience in customer presentation building/storytelling.
• Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret data, uncover insights, and make strategic recommendations.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to influence stakeholders and present findings clearly
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance across key metrics using multiple data sources.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across item-level performance and promotions.
• Develop actionable insights with narratives to guide strategic decisions.
• Support ad-hoc storytelling; maintain attribution and leverage insights for customer narratives.
