Job summary

Mars, Incorporated seeks a Sr. Sales Analyst for Sam's Club to translate data into actionable insights across digital and physical retail channels. You will support forecasting, promotions, and trade investment decisions with strong analytical rigor.

You will collaborate with Demand, Supply, and Customer teams to influence forecast accuracy and ensure inventory flow across Omni channels. Hybrid work in Franklin, TN or Bentonville, AR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in analytics, category management, commercial planning, or customer development (CPG/retail preferred).
• Experience with syndicated data systems (Nielsen) and internal sales forecast tools.
• CPG/retail experience required.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance across sales, margin, share, and households using multiple data sources.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across item performance, promotions, and new item launches.
• Develop actionable insights with clear narratives to guide decisions.
• Support ad-hoc storytelling and maintain attribution for customer narratives.
• Provide forecasting support by analyzing run rates and distribution shifts (CER).
• Partner with Demand and Supply to improve forecast accuracy and inventory flow.
• Manage item portfolio including attribution and SKU/distribution risk analysis.
• Samples management for retailer resets and innovation mock-ups.
• Support promotional ideation, planning, and post-event analysis.
• Track promotions and displays with retailer connectivity and updates.
