Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive year-over-year volume and DGP growth for Bulk Chemical & Services (BCS) products. This remote role targets a Charlotte, NC/Morrisville, PA footprint with travel up to 50% to optimize a Chlor Alkali product stream.

You will manage a territory, build multi-level relationships, and sell the Univar Value Proposition while maintaining a robust pipeline and meeting annual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical distribution business preferred.
• Minimum 10 years sales and marketing experience, preferably in chlor-alkali and/or sulfur markets.
• Demonstrated success driving sales growth.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong relationship builder both externally and internally.
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage a territory and interact with internal/external partners to support customer needs.
• Sell into accounts by developing multiple contacts at various management levels.
• Sell the Univar Value Proposition.
• Ensure prospects and customers are qualified, including safety and financial worthiness.
• Maintain a robust pipeline to beat territory goals.
• Handle company funds for entertainment and travel per policy.
• Identify and report on BCD product opportunities.
• Own and complete annual volume and DGP goals.
• Focus on marketing volume for regional Chlor Alkali plants.
