Job summary

Megawatt Construction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead safety programs across multiple data center construction sites in California.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, foster a culture of safety, and work with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to embed safety in planning and execution. The role requires CSP or equivalent certification, OSHA 30-hour, and at least 8 years in construction safety with 5 years in leadership for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Requires CSP or equivalent certification and OSHA 30-hour (OSHA 500 preferred).
• 8+ years in construction safety; 5+ years in a leadership role for large projects (data center or critical infra).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, codes, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee safety programs across multiple data center projects.
• Conduct site inspections/audits and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for teams and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and drive preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into planning.
• Monitor safety metrics and report trends for improvement.
• Stay current with industry safety standards and best practices.
