Job summary

Compu Dynamics is seeking a Safety Manager to own safety performance on assigned project(s) and to issue permits and approve subcontractor safety plans. You will interface directly with clients, general contractors, and regulatory agencies on safety matters.

The role requires 3+ years of construction safety experience and a BCSP credential, with responsibilities spanning incident management, training, recordkeeping, and program leadership across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction or industrial safety experience.
• BCSP credential (CHST/ASP) in good standing, or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
• Demonstrated ability to issue permits and approve subcontractor safety plans.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping, incident investigation, and regulatory inspection response.

Responsibilities

• Lead project safety audits and hazard recognition.
• Oversee safety on projects; coordinate with client, GC, and regulators.
• Manage safety incidents including investigations and root cause analyses.
• Maintain project safety records and enforce safety plans.
• Deliver safety training to project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Lead safety program initiatives and regional safety communications.
