Safety Manager

The Safety Manager will oversee safety programs and initiatives across multiple mission critical and data center projects. This individual will be responsible for enforcing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while promoting a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to safety management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project‑specific safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, company policies, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety risk assessments on mission critical and data center projects.
• Provide training, orientations, and ongoing safety education for project staff and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, prepare documentation, and implement corrective action plans.
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Act as a safety resource, advisor, and mentor for project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incident reports.
• Foster a culture of safety that aligns with both company and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred; equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum of 4 years of construction safety management experience, with prior mission critical or data center project experience highly preferred.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification required; CHST, CSP, or other professional safety certifications strongly desired.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive accountability across diverse project teams.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
