Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive accident prevention programs across projects and the company. You will perform jobsite assessments, audits, and safety training while ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing incident investigations.

The role requires 7+ years in construction safety and OSHA 30 certification, with CHST or STS-C credentials preferred.

Qualifications

BS degree or 7-10 years of related experience and at least 3 years in a managing leadership capacity.
Minimum 7 years in construction safety experience, OSHA 30 Construction required.
STS-C or CHST are required, union experience preferred.
Ability to work independently with strong communication and influence on safety behaviors.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Develops and manages the administration of accident prevention across projects and the company.
Develop and facilitate safety training programs and meetings.
Conduct work area assessments and jobsite inspections with focus on hazard recognition.
Coordinate safety meetings and training programs to ensure effective communication.
Support incident investigations and manage injury/illness cases.
Ensure regulatory compliance through audits and field walks, and develop corrective action plans.
