Job summary

Acousti Engineering seeks a Safety Manager to implement and improve safety programs across multiple jobsites and regions. The role protects employees, subcontractors, and assets by enforcing federal, state, and local regulations and best practices.

The ideal candidate has deep construction safety knowledge, particularly in drywall, framing, and ACT environments, and mentors field teams to build a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction safety experience in drywall, framing, ACT environments.
• Experience managing safety operations across multiple jobsites.
• Strong background enforcing site safety compliance with subcontractors.
• BCSP STSC and OSHA certifications required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce safety policies across multiple locations and jobsites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and review SS SPs, JSAs, and pre-task planning docs.
• Coordinate and lead safety stand-downs and toolbox talks.
• Provide safety mentorship to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure fall protection, scaffolding, and aerial equipment use is compliant.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver safety trainings, including leadership and field topics.
• Stay current with OSHA regulations and maintain company-wide compliance.
• Develop bilingual safety content in English and Spanish when applicable.
• Maintain certifications and documentation per company standards.
