Job summary

Acousti Engineering is seeking a Safety Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead and continuously improve our construction safety programs across multiple job sites. You will enforce compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, mentor field teams, and ensure fall protection, scaffolding, and equipment safety are prioritized.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of construction safety experience, BCSP STSC and OSHA 510 certifications, and strong leadership and bilingual (English/Spanish)

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction safety experience (drywall, framing, ACT)
• Experience managing safety operations across multiple sites
• Proven record enforcing site safety compliance
• BCSP STSC certification (required)
• OSHA 510 certification (required); OSHA 500 preferred
• JSAs and SSSPs development experience
• First Aid, CPR, AED certified (Trainer preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce safety policies across multiple locations
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions
• Develop and review SSSPs, JSAs, and pre-task planning
• Lead safety stand-downs and toolbox talks
• Mentor field personnel and subcontractors on safety
• Ensure proper use of fall protection, scaffolding, and aerial equipment
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis
• Deliver safety training including leadership topics
• Stay current with OSHA regulations and ensure compliance
• Develop bilingual safety content when applicable
• Maintain safety certifications and documentation
