Job summary

AcoustiEngineering in Columbia, SC is seeking a Safety Manager to implement and manage the company’s safety program across multiple jobsites and regions. You will enforce compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while mentoring field teams to foster a culture of safety.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of construction safety experience, certifications (BCSP STSC, OSHA 510) and strong leadership skills, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction safety experience, preferably in drywall, framing, ACT environments.
• Experience managing safety operations across multiple job sites.
• BCSP STSC certification or higher; OSHA 510 required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Proficiency in developing JSAs/SSSPs and managing fall protection and scaffolding protocols.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certified (Trainer preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce company safety policies across multiple locations and sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and review Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Coordinate and lead safety stand-down meetings and toolbox talks.
• Provide safety mentorship to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of fall protections systems, scaffolding, and aerial equipment.
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver safety training, including bilingual content if applicable.
• Stay current with OSHA regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
• Maintain certifications and documentation per company standards.
