Zusammenfassung

SPC Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead occupational health and safety programs across district project sites near the Palisades Tunnel Project. You will analyze trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical expertise to foster a safe, productive working environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or related field.
• 8+ years in construction or safety.
• Experience managing construction or safety teams.
• Able to train and mentor safety staff.
• Proven ability to identify onsite safety risks and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of construction site equipment and processes.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Aufgaben

• Oversees safety program and procedures for one or more project sites within the same District.
• Performs project site trend analysis and tracks accidents, injuries, fire, property damage and other safety incidents.
• Develops and conducts safety orientations, trainings and toolbox talks for all project staff within designated timeframe.
• Ensures project permits and certifications are active, documented and tracked to avoid delays.
• Provides technical expertise to training, equipment needs and inspection requirements to support construction schedule and promote cost savings.
• Oversees equipment maintenance and procurement for project needs to ensure onsite crews have safety items before work begins.
• Provides project status and trend analysis to manager and project team as needed.
• Oversees injury reporting and corrective actions; reviews investigations and mitigations.
• Reviews and approves DHA/JHA documentation for the project plan.
• Creates or approves worksite safety and evacuation plans; supports emergency response planning.
