SRE Engineering D.P.C. is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead occupational health and safety programs for a Midtown Manhattan project site. The role involves analyzing trends, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing technical expertise to safeguard workers on site.

The position requires hands-on safety leadership, conducting orientations, reviewing procedures, and coordinating with project teams to promote a safe working environment in a high-profile construction setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety is preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in construction or safety.
• Demolition and ground-up project experience.
• Experience managing construction or safety teams.
• Ability to train and mentor safety staff.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and site equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety program and procedures for one or more project sites.
• Performs project site trend analysis and ensures accurate tracking of incidents.
• Develops and conducts all safety orientations and trainings for project staff.
• Ensures all required project permits and certifications are active and tracked.
• Provides technical expertise to training, equipment needs and inspection requirements.
• Oversees incident reporting and investigation documentation and corrective actions.
• Reviews DHA and JHA and maintains safe work plans and procedures.
