Job summary

SPC Construction is seeking an Environmental Manager to develop, implement and monitor project site environmental conditions in line with regulatory requirements, mitigating liabilities. You will support the Palisades Tunnel Project, a flagship infrastructure initiative in the NY/NJ Metro area.

You will lead environmental procedures on construction sites, compile reports, manage subcontractors, perform air-monitoring, and ensure compliance with NJDEP permits and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in environmental regulatory compliance within the construction industry.
• Experience with permits, reporting and environmental audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor environmental procedures on construction sites.
• Lead environmental meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Manage environmental subcontractors and oversee sampling and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with NJDEP permits and OSHA requirements.
• Prepare and review environmental reports and documentation.
• Advise on silica and asbestos testing and controls.
