Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead the Zero Injury Safety Program across multiple project teams and sites in the United States. You will drive safety initiatives, conduct hazard analyses, coordinate with partners, and mentor safety staff to ensure strong construction safety practices.

The role requires extensive knowledge of safety standards, training delivery, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage the Zero Injury Safety Program across projects.
• Lead safety program collaboration with trade partners and joint-venture partners.
• Conduct and review site hazard assessments during planning and construction.
• Develop and deliver safety trainings and orientation content.
• Oversee documentation, injury and hazard statistics, and OSHA reports.
