Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Retail Value Stream Release Train Engineer to enable alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple teams within the Retail Suites SAFe framework. You will coach teams and leaders, manage dependencies, and improve delivery at scale without owning product priorities or people management.

The role emphasizes Lean-Agile leadership, AI-assisted analytics, and collaboration across Product, Technology, UX, Data, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Agile delivery, program delivery, product development, technology, or related field.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events in a scaled environment.
• Strong SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow, and continuous improvement practices.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop practical approaches to complex problems and make sound judgments with limited direction.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate credibly with delivery teams and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and improve value stream and ART-level operating cadences (PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, PI execution reviews).
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional planning and execution events with multiple teams and dependencies.
• Prepare for PI Planning by aligning priorities, capacity, risks, and backlog readiness; support planning alignment and confidence voting.
• Make dependencies, risks, blockers visible and actively managed across the value stream.
• Track ART health and delivery outcomes; use analytics to drive data-driven decisions.
