Job summary

McKesson in the United States is seeking a dedicated Shared Product Capabilities Value Stream Release Train Engineer to drive alignment, planning, and continuous improvement across multiple teams within the SAFe operating model. You will enable PI planning, manage dependencies, and coach leaders to optimize flow and predictability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in agile delivery or program delivery.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning and dependency management.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Ability to apply sound judgment with limited direction and influence without formal authority.
• Ability to connect delivery patterns, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across teams.
• Experience using Agile planning tools such as Atlassian and Miro.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance delivery work with prudent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with transformation and product operations to design and improve value streams and ART operating cadences.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Ensure PI Planning readiness including priorities, capacity, dependencies and backlog readiness.
• Manage dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments across value streams.
• Align cross-value stream dependencies and capacity with leaders for decision.
• Track performance, flow metrics, ART health, and delivery outcomes; use AI for insights.
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and coach teams on Lean-Agile principles.
• Act as a connective force across product, tech, UX, data, and business leadership.
