Job summary

McKesson is seeking a dedicated Release Train Engineer for the Pharmacy Value Stream to enable alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple teams. You will design operating cadences, coach teams, and apply Lean-Agile practices while ensuring dependencies and risks are managed and delivery is optimized.

You will work with Product Operations and Technology to drive PI planning, execution reviews, and program board alignment, using AI-enabled analytics to anticipate bottlenecks

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Agile delivery, program delivery, product development, technology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in a scaled environment and leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow and continuous improvement practices.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop practical approaches to complex problems and to influence without formal authority.
• Experience using Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Atlassian and Miro.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Transformation teams to design, facilitate, and improve value stream and ART-level operating cadences including PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional planning events with multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Prepare teams for PI Planning by aligning priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, objectives, and backlog readiness.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments across the value stream.
• Track performance, flow metrics, ART health, and delivery outcomes to improve predictability and decision-making.
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops, retrospectives, and improvement backlogs; coach teams on Lean-Agile principles.
