Job summary

McKesson is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Value Stream Release Train Engineer to act as the chief facilitator, enabling alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple teams within the Pharmacy Suites SAFe model. Qualifications

• 7+ years in Agile delivery, program delivery, or related field.
• Experience supporting Agile teams in a scaled environment and leading large, cross-functional planning and execution events.
• Strong working knowledge of SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI Planning, dependency management, flow, and continuous improvement practices.
• Advanced facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop practical approaches to complex problems, apply sound judgment with limited direction, anticipate change, and redirect efforts as needed.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate credibly with delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
• Experience using Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Atlassian and Miro.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate value stream operating cadences and PI planning.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional planning events with multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Prepare teams for PI Planning by aligning priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, objectives, and backlog readiness.
• Make dependencies, risks, blockers visible and actively managed across the value stream.
• Track ART health and delivery outcomes; use AI analytics to identify patterns and drive actions.
• Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and coach on Lean-Agile principles and decentralized decision-making.
• Collaborate across Product, Technology, UX, Data, and leadership to align strategy with execution.
• Use AI-assisted tools to enhance facilitation and decision-making during PI Planning and execution.
