Job summary

Amplitude’s Revenue Accounting team seeks a Sr Billing & Collections Analyst to own the end-to-end billing cycle, ensure accurate invoicing, and resolve billing issues across revenue streams. You’ll partner with GTM and Finance to drive timely resolutions and scalable processes.

You will manage collections and identify process improvements, ensuring strong customer experience while complying with internal controls and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting/finance function; SaaS/subscription experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills for high-volume financial data.
• Experience in a SOX-controlled environment and supporting financial controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with accountability for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end billing cycle: invoice generation, review, delivery, and issue resolution.
• Ensure invoices align with contracts and resolve discrepancies before impacting customers or accounting.
• Serve as primary contact for customer billing and contract inquiries with GTM and Finance teams.
• Support collections to ensure timely payments and resolve delays.
• Identify opportunities to automate, improve, and scale order-to-cash workflows while supporting SOX controls.
