Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a seasoned S&OP leader to drive a cohesive supply chain planning function for the Vehicle Solutions business. Based in Troy, MI, you will align customer demand with material availability, production capacity, and business objectives, collaborating across plants, warehouses, and customers.

You will develop end-to-end planning processes, manage multi-horizon plans, and lead a team to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of people manager work experience in supply chain management/S&OP in automotive/electronics/manufacturing environments.
• Strong organization and communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the S&OP function aligning demand, material availability, production capacity, and business objectives.
• Develop and oversee demand, supply, inventory, and revenue planning across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual horizons.
• Serve as liaison between customers, manufacturing plants, warehousing providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
• Establish communication channels with customers to support service excellence and proactive issue resolution.
• Direct material planning and fulfillment via third-party warehouse operations.
• Oversee supply chain support for multiple OEM customers, including material movements and inventory management.
• Lead procurement activities for production-related materials and components.
• Monitor inbound/outbound logistics performance and ensure shipment documentation compliance.
• Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for shortages and disruptions.
• Lead, coach, and develop S&OP team members to foster continuous improvement.
