Job summary

Bish’s RV in Ludington, Michigan, is seeking a skilled RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. You will lead diagnostics, mentor junior techs, and maintain high workmanship standards to drive customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on RV repair, strong RV systems knowledge, RVTI certification, and own a set of tools.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Have a set of personal tools.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials
